The new Martell VSOP Red Barrel is a delicate, elegant and fruity cognac using 100% Red Barrels instead of new barrels allows a smoother cognac, in line with Martell style. When a barrel is called “Red”, reddish colour of aged wood, it means it has reached a perfect stage of maturation for both the wood and the eaux-de-vie for up to 8 years, allowing an ideal balanced exchange between the two.
